Scholarships
The Michigan Health Sciences Libraries Association (MHSLA) is pleased to offer three scholarships for the MHSLA annual conference, October 13-15, 2010, at the Kellogg Center in East Lansing, MI.
The scholarship includes 3 full conference days’ registration, including CE courses, meetings, workshops, lodging, meals, and mileage. Scholarship awardees are expected to assist at the registration/hospitality desk and to write a brief summary of their conference experience for the MHSLA newsletter.
Descriptions of the two types of scholarships and links to the application form are posted below. When applying, please fill out the appropriate form completely. Forms may be submitted electronically or by mail; instructions for submission are included on the form. Application forms must be received by August 31, 2010. Recipients will be notified by September 3, 2010.
1. Member Scholarship. Applicant must be a member of MHSLA who has never attended the MHSLA annual conference before.

2. Student Scholarships (two available). Applicants must be students at either Wayne State University or the University of Michigan in the Library and Information Science program. Preference will be given to students interested in health science librarianship.
